Overview
The Smith & Wesson Model 17, also known as the K-22 Masterpiece, is a target-grade revolver chambered in .22 Long Rifle, introduced in 1947. It was built on Smith & Wesson's medium K-frame with a 6-round capacity and a 6-inch barrel. The Model 17 features a finely tuned double-action trigger, a Patridge front sight, and a Micro-click adjustable rear sight. It was designed for bullseye competition and plinking. The K-22 Masterpiece is widely regarded as one of the finest .22 target revolvers ever produced.
