Ruger Bearcat

The Ruger Bearcat is a small, lightweight single-action revolver chambered in .22 Long Rifle, introduced by Ruger in 1958. It is a scaled-down version of Ruger's original Single-Six, designed for plinking, small game hunting, and trail use. The Bearcat has a traditional Western-style profile but is built on a compact frame that fits easily in a pocket or pack. It features a non-fluted cylinder, fixed sights, and a distinctive color-cased or blued finish. The Bearcat was Ruger's first attempt at an ultra-compact rimfire revolver and has remained in production for over 60 years.
