The AGS-30 Atlant is a Russian 30x29mm automatic grenade launcher designed as a significantly lighter successor to the AGS-17 Plamya. Weighing approximately 16 kg, it is less than half the weight of its predecessor and can be carried and operated by a single soldier with a tripod, representing a major improvement in infantry portability. It uses the same 30x29mm belt-fed grenade ammunition as the AGS-17 and employs a blowback-operated action with a distinctive helical groove in the chamber to reduce bolt thrust. The AGS-30 is widely used by Russian infantry, special forces, and has been exported to numerous allied nations.
The GP-25 is a Russian 40mm under-barrel grenade launcher designed for the AK family of rifles. Using a unique caseless grenade system, it is the standard-issue grenade launcher for Russian and many allied infantry forces.
The RPG-27 Tavolga is a disposable single-shot anti-tank rocket launcher developed in Russia. It fires a 105mm rocket with a tandem shaped charge warhead. The RPG-27 was designed to penetrate explosive reactive armor. It uses a telescoping launch tube that extends before firing. The launcher is pre-loaded and issued as a sealed unit. After firing, the tube is discarded. The RPG-27 is intended to replace older rocket launchers in Russian service.
The RPO-A Shmel is a Soviet single-shot disposable man-portable rocket flamethrower. Despite its flamethrower designation, it actually fires a thermobaric rocket warhead. The weapon is a sealed tube that contains the rocket, launcher, and ignition system. It was designed to engage fortified positions, bunkers, and personnel in enclosed spaces. The thermobaric warhead creates a high-temperature blast wave through fuel-air explosion. The RPO-A is significantly more powerful than conventional explosive rockets of similar size.
The AGS-40 Balkan is a Russian 40mm caseless automatic grenade launcher developed by KBP as the next-generation replacement for the AGS-17 and AGS-30. It fires a unique 40mm caseless grenade cartridge that provides significantly greater range and lethality than the 30x29mm ammunition used by its predecessors. The weapon uses a gas-operated action and can achieve a maximum range of approximately 2,500 meters, a substantial improvement over previous Russian grenade launchers. The Balkan represents the current state of the art in Russian infantry support weapon design.
The GM-94 is a Russian pump-action grenade launcher developed by the KBP Instrument Design Bureau. It was introduced in the 1990s as a multi-purpose grenade launcher for use by Russian military and law enforcement forces. The GM-94 has a unique tubular magazine positioned above the barrel that holds three 43x30mm grenades. The weapon uses a pump-action mechanism to cycle grenades from the top-mounted magazine into the breech. It can fire a variety of grenade types, including high-explosive, thermobaric, smoke, and less-lethal rounds. The GM-94 is designed for close-quarters combat and urban warfare. Its compact design and high explosive output make it effective against fortified positions and personnel.
The PP-90 is a folding submachine gun developed by the KBP Instrument Design Bureau of Russia. It was designed as a concealed carry weapon for VIP protection and special operations. The weapon folds completely flat for storage and can be deployed rapidly by rotating the two halves apart. It was chambered in 9x18mm Makarov. The PP-90 is one of the most compact submachine guns ever produced.
The PP-2000 is an ultra-compact Russian submachine gun designed by the KBP Instrument Design Bureau for personal defense and concealed carry. It has a distinctive design where the magazine well serves as a forward grip, and the folding stock stores compactly when not in use. The weapon is made largely from polymer materials, weighing only 1.4 kg empty.
The OSV-96 is a Russian semi-automatic anti-materiel rifle chambered in 12.7×108mm. It is a modernized folding variant of the V-94, designed for engaging lightly armored vehicles, radar installations, and other material targets at extended ranges.
The GSh-18 is a Russian semi-automatic pistol developed by the KBP Instrument Design Bureau. It fires the 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge from a unique 18-round helical magazine. The pistol features a rotating barrel locking system for reliable cycling under harsh conditions. Its polymer frame and steel slide keep weight low while maintaining durability. The GSh-18 was adopted by Russian law enforcement and military special forces units in limited numbers.
