The Steyr Mannlicher M95 is a straight-pull bolt-action rifle designed by Ferdinand Mannlicher and adopted by the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1895. It uses a unique straight-pull action where the bolt cycles by pulling straight back and pushing straight forward without rotating the handle. Chambered in 8x56mmR Mannlicher, it features a 5-round en-bloc clip that drops through the action when empty. The M95 was produced in both rifle and carbine variants. It is one of the last military straight-pull rifles and saw extensive service in both World Wars.
