
The Russian Model 1808 was a .72 caliber smoothbore flintlock musket adopted by the Imperial Russian Army during the Napoleonic Wars. It was closely based on the French Model 1777 musket design, modified for Russian production methods. The weapon was the primary infantry arm of Russian soldiers from 1808 through the 1820s.
