The Kel-Tec P32 is an ultra-compact, locked-breech semi-automatic pistol chambered in .32 ACP that established the modern micro-compact pistol category. Weighing only 6.6 ounces unloaded and measuring less than an inch wide, it is one of the lightest and thinnest centerfire pistols ever produced. The P32 uses a locked-breech action instead of the typical blowback design found in most .32 ACP pistols, allowing for a lighter slide and reduced felt recoil. Its polymer frame with steel insert keeps weight to an absolute minimum while maintaining durability. The P32 was the platform from which Kel-Tec later developed the widely popular P3AT in .380 ACP and eventually their PF9 and P11 series of compact pistols.
