The Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless is a single-action, hammerless semi-automatic pistol designed by John Browning and produced by Colt from 1903 to 1945. Despite the name, it is not truly hammerless; the hammer is concealed within the slide. Chambered in .32 ACP with an 8-round magazine, it was designed as a compact, reliable pocket pistol for civilian concealed carry. The 1903 features a grip safety, manual safety, and a distinctive streamlined profile. It was widely carried by generals in World War II, including General George S. Patton, who famously carried a nickel-plated Model 1903.
