Zastava TZ-99

The Walther P1 is the post-World War II production version of the famous Walther P38 pistol. It was adopted by the West German Bundeswehr in 1957 as its standard service pistol. The P1 differs from the wartime P38 in using an aluminum alloy frame instead of steel to save weight. It fires the 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge from an 8-round single-stack magazine. The P1 features a double-action/single-action trigger system with a visible decocking safety lever.

The MP-443 Grach is the standard-issue service pistol of the Russian Armed Forces since 2003. Designed by Vladimir Yarygin, it fires the 9x19mm Parabellum round from a 17-round double-stack magazine. The slide is made from steel with a polymer frame for weight reduction. It features a traditional Browning-type locking system with a tilting barrel. The Grach was adopted after a lengthy competition to replace the Makarov PM as Russia's primary military sidearm.

The Walther P4 is a compact version of the Walther P1/P38 designed for police use. It features a shorter 99mm barrel and a reduced slide length for improved concealability. The P4 retains the same 8-round magazine capacity as the full-size P1. A distinctive feature is the enlarged trigger guard for use with gloved hands. The P4 was adopted by several German state police forces in the 1970s.
