Smith & Wesson Governor

The Smith & Wesson Governor is a six-shot double-action revolver chambered to accept .410 bore shotshells, .45 Colt, and .45 ACP cartridges (with moon clips), offering the widest ammunition versatility of any revolver ever produced. Built on S&W's scandium-alloy Z-frame for lightweight durability, the Governor features a 2.75-inch barrel, Tritium front night sight, and a matte black finish. It was developed as Smith & Wesson's direct response to the Taurus Judge, which had dominated the multi-caliber revolver market since 2006. The Governor's ability to fire three distinct cartridge types makes it exceptionally versatile for personal defense, and its six-shot cylinder provides one more round than the competing five-shot Taurus design.
