The Ruger Mark II is a semi-automatic .22 Long Rifle pistol introduced in 1982 as the successor to the Ruger Standard/Mark I. It added a bolt hold-open mechanism, a magazine release button on the frame, and a loaded chamber indicator. The Mark II was produced in numerous configurations with target and standard barrels, adjustable and fixed sights, and stainless or blued finishes. It features a 10-round magazine capacity and a blowback action. The Mark II was one of the most popular .22 pistols of the late 20th century and was succeeded by the Mark III in 2004.
