Ruger 77/22

The Ruger 77/22 is a bolt-action rimfire rifle introduced by Sturm, Ruger & Company in 1985, chambered in .22 Long Rifle. It was designed as a scaled-down version of Ruger's Model 77 centerfire rifle, sharing the same Mauser-style controlled feed action and three-position safety. The 77/22 features a 10-shot rotary magazine, an American walnut or synthetic stock, and a cold hammer-forged barrel. It was an immediate success as a premium rimfire rifle. The 77/22 established a new standard for high-quality rimfire bolt-action rifles.
