The Remington Rolling Block is a single-shot rifle manufactured by Remington Arms, operating on a unique rolling block action. The breechblock rotated on a pin and was locked in place by the hammer falling into a recess. It was one of the most popular military and sporting rifles of the late 19th century, produced in over a million units.
