Overview

The MP 41 is a submachine gun produced by Haenel Waffen und Fahrradfabrik during World War II. It was a hybrid design that combined the receiver and bolt assembly of the MP 40 with a wooden rifle stock and a selector switch for semi-automatic fire. The MP 41 was produced in limited numbers and primarily issued to Waffen-SS and police units. It is one of the few German submachine guns of the era to offer a semi-automatic firing mode.
