
The M1919 Browning is an American .30-06 Springfield (later 7.62×51mm NATO) medium machine gun used extensively throughout World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. An air-cooled evolution of the water-cooled M1917, it served as the standard U.S. infantry, vehicle, and aircraft machine gun.
