Lewis Gun

The Lewis Gun was a gas-operated light machine gun chambered in .303 British, notable for its distinctive top-mounted pan magazine and tubular aluminum cooling shroud. Designed by Isaac Newton Lewis, it was one of the first truly portable machine guns. The weapon was widely used by British and Commonwealth forces.
