Overview

The LeMat Revolving Carbine was a distinctive longarm variant of the famous LeMat revolver, featuring a nine-shot cylinder above a single-barrel 20-gauge shotgun barrel. It was designed by Jean Alexandre LeMat as a multi-purpose cavalry weapon. The carbine could fire both revolver rounds and a grapeshot charge from the same weapon.
