The Lahti L-35 is a Finnish semi-automatic pistol designed by Aimo Lahti. It served as the standard sidearm of the Finnish Defence Forces from 1935 through the 1980s. The L-35 uses a short-recoil, locked-breech action chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum. It features a distinctive angled grip and an accelerator mechanism that improved reliability in Arctic conditions. The pistol is famous for its rugged construction and ability to function in extreme cold. It is one of the most distinctive Scandinavian military pistols ever produced.
