Overview

The Heckler & Koch P9S is a semi-automatic pistol featuring the roller-delayed blowback system derived from the G3 rifle. It was designed as a competition and police service pistol with an advanced target-grade trigger. The P9S operates with a fixed barrel that contributes to exceptional inherent accuracy. It was available in 9x19mm Parabellum and .45 ACP with a polygonal rifled barrel. The pistol uses a unique cocking lever on the frame instead of a traditional slide. It was one of the first production pistols to feature a polygonal bore for improved accuracy and barrel life.
