Henry Long Ranger

The Winchester Model 88 is a lever-action rifle designed for use with modern high-pressure cartridges. It was one of the first lever-action rifles capable of handling pointed spitzer bullets. The rifle features a box magazine rather than the traditional tubular magazine found on earlier lever-action designs. It was chambered in calibers including .243 Winchester, .284 Winchester, and .308 Winchester. The Model 88 was produced until 1973 and is prized by collectors for its modern take on the classic lever-action design.
