Overview

The Daewoo K2C is a compact carbine version of the Daewoo K2 assault rifle, produced by S&T Motiv (formerly Daewoo Precision Industries) of South Korea. It features a shorter barrel and a railed handguard system compared to the full-size K2. The K2C uses a gas-operated, rotating bolt action and is chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. It is designed for special operations forces and vehicle crews who require a more compact weapon. The carbine retains the K2's distinctive combination of direct impingement and gas piston operating systems.
