The M1917 Enfield, formally named United States Rifle, cal. .30, Model of 1917, is an American bolt-action rifle manufactured by Winchester, Remington, and Eddystone during World War I. It is a modified version of the British Pattern 1914 Enfield, rechambered for the .30-06 Springfield cartridge. The M1917 was produced in greater numbers during WWI than the M1903 Springfield and served as a primary American service rifle.
