The Whitney Revolving Rifle was a .36 caliber six-shot percussion revolving rifle manufactured by Eli Whitney Jr.'s company. It featured a robust frame and a ring-lever cocking mechanism beneath the trigger guard. The design closely resembled Colt's contemporary revolving rifles.
