The Spanish Miquelet Musket was a .69 caliber flintlock longarm featuring the distinctive Miquelet lock mechanism, an early Spanish flintlock system. It had a characteristic external hammer with a separate striking surface. The design was known for its robust lock and was widely used throughout the Spanish Empire.
