Remington Defense

The M24A1 is an upgraded version of the M24 Sniper Weapon System used by the United States Army. It was developed as part of the Army's effort to modernize its sniper rifle inventory with improved features. The M24A1 retains the Remington 700-based action of the original M24 but adds an adjustable stock, a detachable box magazine, and a free-floated barrel. It is chambered in .308 Winchester (7.62x51mm NATO) and is designed for long-range precision engagement. The upgrade package extends the service life and capabilities of the existing M24 rifles.
