The Marlin 1895 Trapper is a short-barreled lever-action rifle chambered in .45-70 Government. It features a 16.17-inch barrel with a full-length magazine tube. The Trapper is based on Marlin's classic 1895 action with a side-ejecting bolt. It is equipped with a gray laminate stock and a large-loop lever for gloved hands. The rifle includes a Skinner rear sight and a brass bead front sight. The Trapper is designed for hunting in thick cover and for use as a truck gun.
