The Saiga-12K is a selective-fire variant of the Saiga-12 semi-automatic shotgun line, developed by Izhmash in Russia for military and law enforcement use. It is based on the Kalashnikov action and feeds from detachable box magazines in capacities from 5 to 12 rounds. The K variant features a side-folding stock for compact carry and select-fire capability.
The SV-98 is a Russian bolt-action sniper rifle chambered in 7.62x54mmR. It features a manually operated bolt with three locking lugs and a heavy free-floating barrel. The rifle has a folding stock made of laminated wood or polymer with an adjustable cheek rest. It comes with a detachable 10-round box magazine and a muzzle brake. The SV-98 was designed to replace older sniper rifles in Russian military service.
