14.5x114mm Sniper & Precision Rifles

The Istiglal IST-14.5 is a semi-automatic anti-materiel rifle developed and manufactured by the Ministry of Defence Industry of Azerbaijan. Chambered for the powerful 14.5x114mm cartridge, it is designed to engage light armored vehicles, radar systems, and other high-value targets at distances up to 2,000 meters. The rifle employs a recoil-operated action and features a distinctive muzzle brake that significantly reduces felt recoil despite the massive cartridge. Built with a bullpup configuration to keep the overall length manageable, the Istiglal has been adopted by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and has seen export interest from several regional allies.
